Churen Himal Trekking
Churen Himal trek lies on western Nepal and is a part of Jaljala trek. The trek offer an opportunity to discover areas, which remain practically, untouched and still retain an Individual lifestyle without being affected by western influences. In Churen Himal you will have a chance to trek into the mass of the Dhorpatan hills at about 3000-4500m. This area is full of rivers and fast glacial streams, lots of forest and animals. Visit the base camp of Churen Himal and follow the Pelma Khola down from its source to the rich forests and rocky spires of Lower Dolpa.
A land myth and legend. In the settlement of Dhorpatan we can see the Bon Monastery, Tibetan Herbal Medicine School as well as friendly local village.
Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival and transfer to hotel
Day 02: Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara / Hotel
Day 04: Drive to Beni (850m) & camp
Day 05: Trek to Babichaur
Day 06: Trek to Dharapani via Darbang
Day 07: Trek to Lumsum
Day 08: Camp toward the pass
Day 09: Trek to Seurali and camp at forest or valley.
Day 10: Trek to isolated village of Gurja/camp
Day 11: Trek to Darsinge Kharka
Day 12: Budzunge Kharka/camp around 4000m
Day 13: To Churen Himal base camp, 4200m.
Day 14: Trip to Glacier for spectacular Churen Sanctuary.
Day 15: an explore day to 5000m and trek back to Budzunge Kharka
Day 16: Trek to Gurja village
Day 17: Trek to pass and camp
Day 18: Trek to Jaljala,
Day 19: Explore day to 3400m hill
Day 20: Trek to Muna
Day 21: Trek to Dharapani
Day 22: Trek to Tatopani
Day 23: Trek to Beni & drive to Pokhara/ Hotel
Day 24: Drive to Kathmandu /Hotel
Day 25: Bhaktapur & Patan sightseeing and return
Day 26: Free day in Kathmandu for shopping or relax
Day 27: Drive to Airport for flying your own destination
