Glimpses of Bhutan: Our shortest Bhutan extension tour is designed to introduce you to the timeless bhutan tourswonders of the Dragon Kingdom. You encounter the ancient dzongs (fortresses) and monasteries, relish the idyllic Bhutanese countryside, and visit Thimpu, the quaint capital city.

The strategically located Drugyel Dzong defended the Paro valley against the Tibetan invasion in the early 17th century. The watch tower of Ta Dzong now houses the National Museum, highlighting aspects of Bhutanese history and culture. The Rinpung Dzong is the administrative center and a school for monks. You visit the 15th century Changangkha monastery in Thimpu. On your return to Paro, you stop at the Simtokha Dzong, the first building in Bhutan. This is a fascinating introduction to this magical Himalayan kingdom

Trip Itinerary: (Glimpses of Bhutan 3 nights 4 days)

Day 01: Fly to Paro by Druk Air. You will be met at the airport and transfer provided to Thimpu {65km/2hrs.} and over night at Hotel.

Day 02: Thimpu: full day local sightseeing tour. AM: Visit Zeleukha Nunnery, National Library and Memorial Chorten of His Majesty late Jigme Dorjee Wangchuk. PM: Stroll down town to the Handicraft Development Corporation, which displays all kinds of traditional handcraft products of Bhutan.
Day 03: Thimpu - Paro {65km/2hrs.} AM: After breakfast drive leisurely to Paro. PM: Drive through the Paro valley to see the Drukgyel Dzong/kyichu Lhakhang. On a clear day one can see the Majestic Jhomolhari Mountain or better knows as 'The Mountain of Goddess (7314m.). Also visit the National Museum located in the TA Dzong which displays a rich collection of fine arts and weapons. Over night at Hotel.

Day 04: Drive to airport for your flight.

Trip Itinerary: (Mystic Bhutan 4 night 5 days)

Day 01: Fly to Paro and upon arrival meet, assists and drive to Thimpu{65km/2hrs.}And over night at Hotel.

Day 02: Thimpu: Full day local sightseeing. AM: Visit the Memorial Chorten of the Late King Jigme Drjee Wangchuk in the heart of Thimpu town/the Tashichhodzong, 'The fortress of the auspicious Religion' PM: Stroll downtown to the Handicraft Development Corporation, which displays all kinds of traditional handicraft products of Bhutan. And over night at Hotel.

Day 03: Thimpu - Paro {65km/2hrs}. AM: after breakfast drive leisurely to Paro. PM: Drive through the paro valley to see the Drukgyel Dzong/Kyichu Lhakhang. On a clear day one can see the white doomed majestic Jhomolhari Mountain or better know as the Mountain of Goddess (7314m). Also visit the National Museum located in the TA Dzong which displays a rich collection of fine arts and weapons. Over night at Hotel.

Day 04: Paro: Excursion to Taktsang Lhakang . AM: After breakfast drive to Sartsham Chorten and then two hours of horse riding uphill will take you to the Taktsang cafeteria. After refreshment a short trek to the view point to witness a fascinating eye-level view of the famous Taktsang Lhakhang also know as the tigers nest. PM: After lunch a slow downhill treks to Sartsham Chorten and then drive to hotel and over night at Hotel.

Day 05: Drive to airport for your flight or exit by overland.

Peak Season Rates :
For The Months Of March, April, May, September, October, and November
US$200 per person per day for 3 or more in a group
US$230 per person per day for 2 in a group
US$240 per day for a single individual

Off Season Rates:
For The Months Of June, July, August, December, January, and February
US$165 per person per day for 3 or more in a group
US$195 per person per day for 2 in a group
US$205 per day for a single individual

These rates include government mandated surcharge of US$40 per day for one person and US$30 per day per person for a group of two or more.

- Airport - Hotel airport transfer
- All meals & accommodation.
- All Meals in Hotel / Camp
- Fluent and knowledgeable English speaking guide
- Bhutan Ground Transportation cars/vans/coaches
- Sightseeing including entry to museum.
